இன்ஸ்டன்ட் கவிஞர்கள்

கவிதைகளுக்கான 
சொற்களைத் தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள், 
அடித்த காற்றில் 
பறந்து போனதாக ஒருவன் சொன்னான், 
எலிகள் இழுத்துப் போயிருக்கலாம் 
என்றும் கருத்து வைக்கப் பட்டது , 
எழுதாத கவிதையொன்றை எழுத 
வாய்ப்பே யில்லையென்று 
ஒருவன் அலுத்துக் கொண்டான், 
திருடிய வார்த்தைகளை அடுக்கிய ஒருவன் 
அருத்தம் கிடைக்காமல் 
புரிந்தவர்களுக்கு இது புரியுமென்றான், 
வானத்தையே பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தவன் 
"நிலா" என்ற வார்த்தையை மீறி 
நகராமல் நின்றான், 
நவீனத்திற்கே விளக்கம் தெரியாமல் 
பின் நவீனத்தை ஒருவன் பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தான், 
எழுத நினைத்த கவிதைகளெல்லாம் 
அவர்களின் 
விரல்களின் இடுக்கில்தான் அமர்ந்திருந்தது, 
உதறிவிட்டுக் கொண்டே 
கவிதைகளைத் தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள் !

Blown away by the winds
said one
May have been dragged off
by mice
was another view put forth
One lamented 
about the lack of opportunity 
to write 
an unwritten poem
The person who was
arranging stolen words
without getting their meaning
declared that 
those who understand
shall comprehend 
The one who was
gazing at the sky
not wanting to go
beyond the word "moon"
stood still
Unaware of the definition 
of a novel
one went on about the neo novel
All the poems they
wished to write
were right there
in the gaps 
between their fingers
Shaking off
they kept searching

for poems
